Everything is Backwards
'2024 Remix Anthology'
CONDITIONS
1. Contract. All remix submissions must have a receipt Purchase Order Number # to qualify.
When selected, those specific versions will be sent the same standard remix agreement.
Your agreement signature qualifies you for consideration.
2. Format.
a. Make sure you title your remix:
Foremost Poets - Everything is Backwards (your name of the remix version).
b. All remix submissions should be sent through https://Wetransfer.com.
c. Send your submission to: submissions@foremostpoets.net
d. The original tempo is 128.4 Beats Per Minute.
e. Before submission, we strongly recommend that you 'Digitally Master' your own files
(for maximum performance). If you are not sure who to trust with your mix, we can provide a mastering solution.
f. Music formats are acceptable at 44100, 24-bit, 32-bit, WAV, FLAC, CAF, or AIFF files. Absolutely NO MP3s.
g. You will have time to complete your project once the contest date is announced.
3. Genres. All Genres and tempos are welcome. Reggae, Drum&Bass, Country, and any others are admissible.
4. IZOTOPE Stems. Separated stems can be downloaded here at https://ForemostPoets.net/everything
AGAIN. Each receipt has a Purchase Order # that verifies your purchase.
All agreements must be submitted or emailed to submissions@foremostpoets.net.
Izotope stems do not sound as good as the original stems available - and will have less quality than your neighboring competition. Izotope stems are admissible, yet every submission must have a Purchase Order # from your full receipt that verifies your qualification otherwise, the submission will not be considered.
5. Remixing a Remix. This is one of the most unwritten schemes in the music business among producers.
To avoid unfair advantages in the contest, no one will be allowed to remix a remix by simply hearing the earliest submissions. Once all the Remixes are submitted and approved,
a. your remix shall be listed according to the submission date and time it was received
b. your remix shall be listed and posted TOGETHER for availability
c. your remix shall be subject to a re-ordering system for album placement.
6. "Everything is Backwards" (Remix Album). Have your remix posted with some of the biggest names in music on the Foremost Poets - "Everything is Backwards" (Remix Album). The top chosen remixes will receive royalties, publishing, and notoriety as 'winners' on the album. 7. "Everything is Backwards" (Wikipedia Registry). Your remix version (when selected) will join the Remix Album data in historic records worldwide. Wikipedia is just one of the sites to mention. 8. Advertising. Sponsors along with Foremost Poets Gallery do not advertise that a person has "won a prize" and require a person to take certain actions or purchase any products or services, or participate in a sales presentation in order to obtain a prize. 9. Deadline. The Gallery expects thousands of Entries. Therefore, final remixes should be turned in by June 1st, 2023. Winners will be announced no later than December 10, 2023. 10. FAQ.
