“This Mancunian underdog has finally grown into the music that inspires him with a collaborative mixture of House, Soul, Future Funk and Modern Ballads.
Jamie and his collective of talented co-writers and producers have made the most of the lockdown period writing new material and along with his team he is super excited to start releasing new music this Spring. Born from very humble beginnings and raised in North Manchester, Jamie McCool has not had an easy journey to being the musician he is today.
Through his life experiences he is not afraid express himself emotionally which is easily identifiable in his music and voice. Working closely with some hand selected producers he now feels he is on the precipice of something special having worked his way through a period of depression and mental health issues which culminated in him almost giving up on music all together when he was dropped by Universal. He is now back strong, confident and ready to fulfil his potential. This Mancunian talent has experienced the many pitfalls that life and the music industry have thrown at him and has managed to channel his negative experiences into a positive force for his creativity.
